02 Sep Iligan City Vice Mayor Tests Positive For COVID-19
Mga higala! Vice Mayor Jemar “Monsi” Vera Cruz of Iligan City has disclosed that he recently tested positive for COVID-19!
In a Facebook post yesterday, September 1, 2020, Vera Cruz revealed that he voluntarily underwent a reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test last August 30, after Councilor Noli Pardillo was confirmed to be positive with the said virus.
He then added that he last had direct contact with Pardillo during a meeting on August 22, together with Mayor Celso Regencia and their LGU’s department heads.
However, Vera Cruz noted that he is not experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms and is physically feeling well.
