In an article posted by Sunstar.com, authorities in Cagayan de Oro City seized a “big time” illegal drug personality and about P400,000-worth of drugs in Singapore, Brgy. Balulang, Cagayan de Oro City last Saturday, August 5.
Suspect Abdul Madid Ali, 47 years old, who originated from Marawi City was arrested by anti-illegal drugs operatives in the drug-bust operation with two packs of methamphetamine hydrochloride (locally known as shabu) in his possession which weighed about 57 grams and amounting to P343,800.
According to City Drug Enforcement Unit Chief Gilbert Rollen, the suspect is an alleged expert of disposing of a large volume of shabu.
After he was captured, the suspect divulged the name of his supplier of shabu who, according to him, is hailing from Iligan City. However, he did not clarify the identity of his supplier.
Ali is now detained at Maharlika Detention Cell and will be facing criminal charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
