18 Jun LOOK: Illegal Structures Demolished, “Bakwits” Leave Capitol Grounds
Mga higala! The illegal bamboo shelters built by bakwits (evacuees) at the Capitol Grounds a.k.a the Vicente de Lara Park of Cagayan de Oro City are now completely demolished!
Meanwhile, the evacuees who have been living at the park for over a year refused the offer of relocation given by the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental, and are currently inside the grounds of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP) along Claro M. Recto Avenue.
