Mga higala! The INDIGENOUS PEOPLE (IPs) of Sitio Lirupan, Barangay Pagalungan in Cagayan de Oro City, now have their very own water supply, thanks to the inauguration of the Indigenous People Cultural and Community Water System last Wednesday, April 17.
This water system was built with a budget of P5.1 million and will now supply 586 homes or over 2,463 residents.
The inauguration was led by Mayor Oscar Moreno together with the Department of Social Welfare Development (DSWD). See photos from Cagayan de Oro City Philippines-FB below:
Brgy. Pagalungan’s indigenous people (IPs) have been wishing for this water system for years, and they are thankful that this was finally made possible by the city government and DSWD.
