The Misamis Oriental Provincial Jail (MOPJ) together with the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) headed by S/Insp Maricris Y. Mulat conducted a surprise inspection of all inmate cells this week.

This resulted in the confiscation of various illegal items and makeshift weapons that would have endangered the lives of inmates and the establishment. Among the collected objects are; cellular phones, cigarettes, silver spoons, scissors, lighters, and daggers.
