20 Jul Italian National in Cagayan de Oro Voluntarily Surrendered and Confessed to Being a Drug User

Last Monday, July 18, 2016, a police station chief in Cagayan de Oro confirmed that a foreigner voluntarily showed up during “Oplan Tokhang” and confessed to being a drug user.
The foreigner had confessed that he had been using illegal drugs every so often but had determined to get away from the habit definitively.
According to Station 1 commander in Plaza Divisoria Sr. Inspector Maricris Mulat, the said foreigner came from Rome, Italy and had been residing in Barangay 14 for quite a long time together with his Filipina partner and his daughter. She added that she wa a bit surprised seeing a foreigner attending to the anti-illegal drug campaign.
