Japan Donates Over 608 Million Pesos to Cagayan de Oro City For Flood Prevention and Warning System Improvements

Mga higala! The country of Japan has donated 1.278 billion yen (over 608 million pesos) for a project that aims to improve Flood Forecasting and Warning Systems for the Cagayan de Oro River Basin.

According to a press release, Japanese Ambassador Koji Haneda and Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano signed and exchanged notes on the project last Wednesday, June 13.
