Mga higala! The Municipality of Jasaan in Misamis Oriental has released a statement confirming that it has recorded its 1st positive COVID-19 case!

43-year-old male, 1st case of Jasaan
- returning OFW from Africa
- swab tested in Manila on June 17: negative
- arrived at Laguindingan via PAL Flight PR 4529 on June 21, 2020, seat number: 41A
- stayed overnight in a holding area and arrived in Jasaan on June 22
- picked-up alone by LGU van
- placed in strict quarantine for 14 days
- tested positive via RDT on July 2
- continued 7 days of extended quarantine
- re-tested via RDT on July 13, still positive
- swab tested on July 14
- results came back positive on July 16
- transferred to a municipal isolation unit
- asymptomatic
