21 Apr Johndorf Ventures Corporation (JVC) Opens New Project in Cagayan de Oro
The well-known property development company Johndorf Ventures Corporation (JVC) opened a new housing project located in the uptown area of Cagayan de Oro City, named as Montierra, an Asian-themed townhouse subdivision for middle-class families in Cagayan de Oro City.
Montierra is the most recent commercial housing project of JVC, parading 30 years of successful building of quality homes and progressive neighborhoods.
JVC sales and marketing manager, Michele Chiu-Bacungan stated that the project is aimed for overseas Filipino workers, middle-class professionals, and entrepreneurs as well.
“We are overwhelmed by the response of the market since we introduced Montierra to our accredited sellers three weeks ago,” Bacungan said. Most of the interested buyers are from Cebu City and other Mindanaoans who wants to settle in the ever-growing city of Cagayan de Oro.
A budget of P600 million is allocated for the project to build 600 townhouses with a commercial center in the 7.5-hectare of land near the old Lumbia Airport. It also includes a clubhouse, jogging trails, well-decorated parks, a basketball court, and a swimming pool.
One property can cost from P2.8 million to P3 million which can be funded through the Home Mutual Development Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund), or authorized commercial banks.
Each unit includes three bedrooms and two toilets and bathroom, showcasing a floor area of 64 square meters and lot of 54 to 108 square meters.
Montierra is just one of the many projects that Johndorf has done successfully including projects like the Portville Davao in southern Mindanao, Portville Mactan, Portville Prime, Astana and Navona in Cebu.
The ability of JVC to construct two-story units faster than the usual time-frame made them achieve early housing turnovers than usual, an edge that the corporation is very proud of.
