17 May Jollibee joins Macanhan Elementary School in Brigada Eskwela

Reviving the spirit of Bayanihan, Filipino fast-food chain Jollibee joined the Brigada Eskwela of Macanhan Elementary School last May 15 at the school’s campus in Barangay Macanhan, Cagayan de Oro, an article from Sunstar.com reported.
Together with other volunteers, both management staffs and crew of Jollibee Cagayan de Oro brought their own paints, brushes, and other cleaning materials to clean and improve the school’s surroundings and classrooms.
Jollibee, one of the all time favorite fast food chains in the country, decided to help Macanhan Elementary School in their Brigada Eskwela because compared to other schools in the city, they think that they could contribute more to the school’s preparation for the opening of classes this June.
Mr. Emmanuel Alingig, school principal of Macanhan Elementary School, extended his gratitude to the assistance of Jollibee in the yearly Brigada Eskwela in their school aside from the volunteers and parents.
Jollibee has been lending its help to local schools each year in the Brigada Eskwela Program.
