15 Apr Kagay-anon Designer Creates PH Flag-Inspired Hazmat Suits for COVID-19 Frontliners
Mga higala! In a recent Facebook post, Kagay-anon fashion designer- Queen Guela Ampong proudly revealed images of a customized hazmat suit design that they created, inspired by our own Philippine flag!
As can be read in Guela’s post, the design uses 4 colors that are present in our country’s flag, symbolizing the following:
- Blue is for harmony, peace, and unity.
- Red is for the war against COVID-19.
- Yellow is for resiliency and hope.
- White is for purity.
This crisis that we are facing today enable us – Filipinos, to show our unwavering hearts, to give hope that we can all help fight COVID-19, and that we can conquer this pandemic as long as we work as one.
“Thank you Frontliners! From our National Government; The President, Doctors, Allied Healthcare providers, Volunteers, Donors, and others who are fighting with us,” Guela said.
