16 Nov Kagay-anon Kid Wins As “12-Under” Champion Of World Online Chess Tournament
Mga higala! Cagayan de Oro’s kiddie chess wizard, Ruelle ‘Tawing’ Canino, has once again added an amazing accomplishment in her young career by winning as the “12-under” champion of the recently concluded “World Online Cadets and Youth Rapid Chess Tournament” of the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP)!
According to a post by Ruel Canino, Tawing gained a rating of 1,975.
She will then represent the Philippines in the upcoming “World Online Cadets and Youth Rapid Chess Championship”.
Moreover, Mayor Oscar Moreno has praised Tawing’s world-class performance.
