London

Mga higala! Ken Lambatan, a 34-year-old nurse from Cagayan de Oro City who was working at the Clinical Research Facility of the St. George’s Hospital in London, has recently passed away due to COVID-19!

Lambatan served at the hospital’s cardiac unit and is one of the latest National Health Service (NHS) frontliner to have died of the coronavirus disease.

According to dailymail.co.uk, Lambatan was described as someone who “lit up the room” and a “true gem” who was very popular with colleagues and patients.

“Ken was very popular with staff, and described as a “true gem” by those that knew him well. He was dedicated to his role as a research nurse here at St George’s, and was as popular with his patients as he was with colleagues.”

“Our thoughts go out to his family, friends and colleagues at this time.”
