29 May Kids with down syndrome strut and pose during the Faith and Light Ministry fashion show

Flaunting trendy and fashionable apparels made by Kagay-anon designers, 17 kids with down syndrome took the runway stage with confidence and pride during the annual Faith and Light Ministry fashion show last May 27, 2017, in Cagayan de Oro City.
In an article from news.abs-cbn.com, Msgr. Florencios Salvador Jr. said that the event gave an opportunity for the participants to be proud of themselves as they become closer and be immersed in the society. He also said that despite their special condition, they need not be ashamed of themselves and the fashion show is a way of “…enhancing their dignity as children of God”.
The Faith and Light Ministry CDO Fashion Show is already in its second year.
