14 Nov Kris Aquino to Sec. Piñol “Hindi kami nagnakaw” as They were Discussing Government Funds
The queen of all media, Kris Aquino, is again in hot waters as she said in a jest to Department of Agriculture Secretary Manny Piñol “hindi kami nagnakaw” – which probably referring to the Aquino Family, at the Go Negosyo Summit held in Davao City.
It’s not an assumption that the current sitting government of today is indifferent to the previous administration and Kris Aquino’s satire answer may be a serious remark on some of the allegations pointed at his brother ex-President Benigno Aquino III.

The video showed how Secretary Piñol explained that in four month’s time the government released 50 Million-peso fund to the Abaca farmers in Leyte. He also cited how the government funds should never be subjected to any form of corruption as it would curtail delays in government services. Kris Aquino interrupted Sec. Piñol and jokingly said “hindi kami magnanakaw” which gained applause from the crowd.
Sec. Piñol later dismissed that what he said was pointed at the previous administration and Kris Aquino clarified that she just wanted to be friends with the secretary.
The event was supposed to be attended by President Rodrigo Duterte but was canceled due to health concerns.
