Kumbira, the biggest and mouthwatering culinary show and live competitions organized by the Cagayan de Oro Hotel and Restaurant Association (COHARA), is finally back with the theme “Eat Right” which aims to promote healthy ingredients incorporated to delicious foods and to encourage everybody to achieve a balanced diet.
COHARA is a satellite organization of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines founded in 1996 and is the governing body which organizes the annual culinary festival under the name KUMBIRA, a Cebuano term for feast or food festivals, to showcase the talents of chefs from different restaurants around the city.
Being the voice of Northern Mindanao’s sector on hotel, restaurant and resort, the stalled 21st year celebration of KUMBIRA is back this November 22-23, 2017 at the Atrium, Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City.
