08 Jan Kuyamis Festival 2018’s Week-Long Celebration

Everything is now ready for Misamis Oriental’s annual event, the Kuyamis Festival 2018. This will be held from January 8 to 12, Monday thru Friday this week.
The organizers are urging the people of MisOr to witness the activities prepared for the 88th founding anniversary of MisOr.
The weeklong festivity began with a Holy Mass last Friday, January 5, at the Nazareno Parish Church. And a Street Dancing parade on January 8 for both local and foreign tourists to enjoy.
There will also be dance competitions, agri-tourism booth contest, culinary and cooking demonstrations, and sports events at the Capitol grounds.
The 20 Miss Kuyamis candidates will then be at the Ayala Centrio Mall on January 9 to hold their mini fashion show. Whilst the coronation night would be on January 11, 7 pm on the Capitol Grounds.
Lastly, the Kuyamis Festival will conclude with the Governor’s Night and the first Search for Miss Gay Misamis Oriental on January 12, Friday.
