20 Jun Land Bank announces downtime this June 24-25 due to new technology installation

The Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) has announced a downtime from June 24, 2017 (Saturday) at 10: 30 pm to June 25, 2017 (Sunday) at 3 pm Philippine Standard Time.
According to an announcement posted by LBP on its Facebook page, the downtime will allow the bank to do its maintenance activities and system upgrade which will adopt the EMV technology for a safer electronic banking transaction as mandated by the Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
During the scheduled downtime, LBP clients will not be able to access certain means of transactions including ATMs, Cash Deposit Machines, and other electronic banking such as iAccess, weAccess, and Mobile Banking Application, and Landbank debit cards (ATM and Cash Cards).
Prior to the system downtime, LBP encourages its clients to make necessary bank transactions at their offices and automated stations nationwide to lessen the inconvenience that it may cause.
