25 May LGBTQ+ Organizations Now Being Established In CDO Barangays
Mga higala! Barangay officials are now moving to establish LGBTQ+ organizations in the barangays of Cagayan de Oro City!
In regards to this, a meeting was recently conducted at the City Hall, to discuss the steps that they should take.
ICYDK, in accordance with Executive Order No. 106-2023, which was signed by Mayor Klarex Uy and City Administrator Atty. Roy Hilario Raagas last May 15, a Cagayan de Oro City LGBTQ+ Federation will be created to assist in the establishment of said barangay-based LGBTQ+ organizations and in promoting equality and diversity in the city.
