22 Sep Liceo U, Classic Youth Orchestra to Collaborate in a Musical Event for a Cause
As an academic institution that offers its an avenue for its students to materialize their passion for music, Liceo de Cagayan University (LDCU) commits itself to be at par with international standards in showcasing musical events and recitals. True enough with the mission of its Conservatory of Music to produce highly-skilled and competent musicians of its students, it is seen as a school in Cagayan de Oro City where music is given with such a high regard.
This coming October 7, 2017, LCDU is yet again to prove its dedication to music together with the Cebu’s finest musical ensemble, Classic Youth Orchestra in “an evening of movie and themes and popular classics” at the Rodelsa Circle, LDCU Main Campus.

The event will be graced by the presence of LDCU’ resident conductor and music professor, Horst Hans-Bäcker; Dean of the Conservatory of Music and pianist, Rudolf Caesar Pelaez Golez; and Tullio Vidmar, LDCU Professor, and violinist.
The musical event will highlight themes from blockbuster movies like Pirates of the Caribbean and Cinderella and the instrumental classics like Grieg Piano Concerto and Mozart Sinfonia Concertante in E-Flat K. 346.
Tickets are available at the Liceo Office of Cultural Affairs for P500 to P1000 and the proceeds of the event will go to the Rodolfo N. Pelaez Foundation Scholarship Program.
