27 Feb LTFRB-10 Warns CDO Taxi Drivers Who Refuse Passengers
Mga higala! The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) of Region 10 has issued a warning vs taxi drivers in Cagayan de Oro City who refuse or turn down passengers!
According to LTFRB, they have received a lot of reports that the said drivers unfairly refuse passengers if they think their destination is not far enough for a hefty fare or if the required route has heavy traffic.
The agency has reiterated that despite the reasons above, taxi drivers are not allowed to turn down any passenger.
Those who will violate this will have to pay fines and/or face heavier penalties.
