29 May LTFRB Approves P9.00 Minimum Fare For PUJs In Northern Mindanao
Mga higala! The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has officially approved the new minimum fare of 9 PESOS for public utility jeepneys (PUJs) in Northern Mindanao!
This aims to help improve the reduced income of drivers and operators caused by social distancing measures and the lack of passengers brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, to charge for the new minimum fare, they will need to acquire a special permit from the LTFRB, which can be done online: region10@ltfrb.gov.ph
