19 Feb LTO-10 Tackles Rampant Illegal Parking in CDO

The Land Transportation Office of Region 10 is now strengthening their campaign against illegal parking violations that add to the road problems of Cagayan de Oro. They have recently expressed their concerns regarding the increase of irresponsible drivers in various highways of the city.
LTO-10 aims to further lessen the congestion of vehicles on the road which will help save time for commuters. And prevent accidents, especially at night.

According to a report by Bombo Radyo, regional director Oscar Salcedo said that concerned citizens should take pictures of vehicles that will violate the city’s rules, this will then be used to identify and punish drivers upon renewal of their registration.
Moreover, as we all know, there have been many accidents lately due to overspeeding, overtaking, and illegal parking in areas like Brgy. Tablon and Brgy. Agusan.
