LTO & DOTr Postpone Implementation Of “Car Seat” Law

Mga higala! The Land Transportation Office (LTO) and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) has deferred or suspended the full implementation of the CAR SEAT LAW or the Child Safety in Motor Vehicles Act (RA 11229)!

This was announced yesterday, February 2, 2021, the planned start of the said law’s enforcement.

According to reports, the said law will be suspended for at least 3 months while LTO and DOTr focus on conducting a comprehensive nationwide information, education, and communication (IEC) campaign.
