07 Jul READ: Lucky Me! Issues Statement Regarding Ethylene Oxide Issue
Mga higala! ICYDK, the governments of Malta, Ireland, and more have recently issued advisories against the alleged high levels of Ethylene Oxide (a pesticide) in various Lucky Me! noodle variants.
This information was disclosed through the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed of the European Environmental Health Directorate within the Superintendence of Public Health.

The involved batch of these noodle variants were said to have been manufactured in Thailand with best before dates set this 2022.

In response to this and the mixed reactions online, the official Facebook page of Lucky Me! has released a statement aiming to clarify that Ethylene Oxide “is not added in Lucky Me! products”:
