Mga higala! Joeffrey Mambucon, a 31-year-old Tigwahanon-Manobo Lumad from Sitio Opis, Namnam, San Fernando, Bukidnon, has recently graduated with a degree in medicine from the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute!
Mambucon persevered over the years despite the discrimination that he received from others due to his shortcomings and continued to pursue his goal, with the support of those who believed in him.
ICYDK, he also finished a nursing degree at the University of Mindanao and passed his board exam in 2010.
He is the first lumad in their tribe with this double degree!
In a recent Facebook post, Mambucon announced his success and expressed the hardships that he experienced to achieve his dreams.
