04 Apr Due to military operations in MisOr, 36 Lumad families have evacuated

In an article from Bulatlat.com, around 36 Lumad families from a Higaonon community in Sitio Camansi, Lagonglong, Misamis Oriental have abandoned their homes due to huge military operations in their area.
They have camped out in the grounds of the Provincial Capitol in Cagayan de Oro and demanded that the government to pull out operations in their community.
According to the report, the Lumad families have fled their homes last March 29 in fear for their lives and have been camping out in the capitol grounds for three days.
The Armed Forces of the Philippines has announced that as of today the military will not pull out from the area since they are conducting military operations.
