17 Feb CDO’s Lumbia City Jail Now Has Zero COVID-19 Cases
Mga higala! The Lumbia City Jail of Cagayan de Oro City now finally has zero cases of COVID-19!
ICYDK, a total of 1,126 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) were swab tested in the said jail since last year, where 215 tested positive and 911 tested negative.
However, all of these cases have eventually recovered.
9 out of the 77 Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) personnel in the jail also tested positive but are now in good health.
In a recent press briefing, Mayor Oscar Moreno praised the efforts of medical officers and/or health officials assigned in the Lumbia City Jail, for properly taking care of patients and for bravely fighting against COVID-19.
