27 Oct LOOK: Lumbia Octagon Sports Arena Prepares For Reopening, Cockfighting Now Allowed
Mga higala! The Lumbia Octagon Sports Arena in Brgy. Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City, is now preparing for its possible reopening amid the “new normal” brought by the COVID-19 pandemic!
As you can see in the photo below, chairs around its cockfighting octagon have been set-up to comply with social distancing measures:

ICYDK, the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has recently allowed cockfighting activities to resume in areas under modified general community quarantine (MGCQ), however, this will still need approval from the city government.
