25 Mar MMC Condemns Reckless Actions Of COVID-19 Positive Sen. Koko Pimentel
Mga higala! The Makati Medical Center (MMC) has released a statement denouncing Senator Koko Pimentel‘s breach of their infection and containment protocols against COVID-19, by coming with his pregnant wife inside their hospital yesterday, March 24, 2020!
According to their statement, Pimentel, who is positive with COVID-19, violated his Home Containment Protocol and entered their delivery room and unduly exposed the healthworkers of the hospital to possible infection.
“We denounce the irresponsible and reckless action of the senator. He added to the burden of a hospital trying to respond in its most competent and aggressive manner to cope with the daunting challenges of this COVID-19 outbreak,” said MMC Medical Director Dr. Saturnino Javier.
