Malacañang Declares May 3 As Non-Working Holiday For Eid Al-Fitr

Mga higala! Malacañang has declared May 3, 2022, as a regular holiday (non-working) throughout the Philippines, in observance of Eid al-Fitr or the end of Ramadan!

This was confirmed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea last night, May 1.

BTW, the Office of the Bangsamoro Mufti has announced that based on the result of their moonsighting, the said religious event will be celebrated today, May 2, 1st of Shawwal 1443H:
