Man Positive For COVID-19 In CDO Is From A Iligan City, Exposed Healthcare Workers Asked To Do Home Quarantine

Mga higala! The City Government and Medical Society of Iligan City have released a statement saying that the patient with a confirmed case of COVID-19, who is now at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) of Cagayan de Oro, is from a hospital in Iligan!

The 54-year-old man was admitted due to fever, cough, and shortness of breath, and had a travel history to San Juan City, which is now the epicenter of COVID-19 in the Philippines.

According to the recent post of LGU Iligan City, they are currently coordinating with the authorities to trace everyone who had physical contact with the said patient. They are also urging the exposed healthcare workers to do home quarantine.

Everyone is advised to stay calm, be informed, and always follow safety precautions.
