25 Jun LOOK: Mass Rapid Antibody Tests Start @ Brgy. Carmen
Mga higala! As part of a “seroprevalence survey”, health personnel started mass rapid antibody tests today, June 25, 2020, in Barangay Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City!
ICYDK, seroprevalence surveys use serology tests to identify people in a population or community that have antibodies against infectious diseases.
In this particular case, the survey is aimed at determining the level of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome- Coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV2), measured in blood serums, in the dense population of Brgy. Carmen.
The tests are being conducted through the combined efforts of the City Health Office (CHO) and the Department of Health (DOH) in Region 10.
500 residents will undergo the rapid antibody test.
