07 Nov Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) Was Launched In Barangay Cugman

In an article posted by Cagayan de Oro News Bulletin, Barangay Cugman has launched the Materials Recovery Facility or MRF yesterday, November 6, to honor Republic Act 9003, the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 and the City Ordinance 8975-2003 or Waste Segregation Ordinance.
According to Kagawad Ian Mark Nacaya, barangays have greater responsibilities and obligations in the implementation of waste segregation as well as RA 9003.
He added that it is important to start working on the environmental concerns for the future of the youth, which he emphasized, and that what we did to our environment and ecology will also be felt by us.
Further, the ceremony was attended by officers of different sectors.
