21 Feb Mayor Klarex Uy To Increase Honorarium Of Barangay Tanods
Mga higala! Mayor Klarex Uy recently announced that he is aiming to increase the monthly honorarium of Barangay Tanods in Cagayan de Oro City this 2023!
This was disclosed during the flag-raising ceremony that he attended in Brgy. Bayanga.
ICYDK, Barangay Tanods are currently receiving P500 per month from the city’s honorarium counterpart (not including the salary from their barangay).
However, Uy said that he plans to increase this to P1,000 per month, citing that he acknowledges the challenges faced by tanods to maintain order in their respective barangays.
