20 Jan Mayor Moreno Asks DILG To Hire Local Contact Tracers In CDO

Mga higala! Mayor Oscar Moreno has recently expressed that if there is a hiring of additional contact tracers in Cagayan de Oro City, the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) should employ local residents!
This statement is in response to the news that the DILG is planning to re-hire around 15,000 contact tracers nationwide to further boost the country’s efforts against COVID-19.
Moreno emphasized that contact tracers should be familiar with the barangay or areas that they are assigned in to efficiently conduct a contact tracing. He then implied that qualified local individuals are the obvious choice for this kind of job.
