21 Dec Mayor Moreno Issues Order Officially Requiring Face Shields In Cagayan de Oro
Mga higala! Mayor Oscar Moreno has recently issued Executive Order No. 173, s. 2020, an order requiring people in Cagayan de Oro City to wear full-coverage face shields together with face masks when going outside their homes or when visiting public places!
According to the said order, “All persons leaving the premises of their homes and/or workplaces shall be required, together with face mask, to wear a full-coverage face shield, which can adequately cover the eyes down to the chin area of a person’s face.
“This requirement also applies to those entering the city for whatever purpose, whenever they are in public places and/or onboard public transportation vehicles.”
This is in line with Resolution No. 88 from the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).
