13 Apr Mayor Moreno Signs Ordinance Mandating The Wearing Of Face Masks In Cagayan de Oro
Mga higala! Mayor Oscar Moreno has signed Ordinance No. 13849-2020 or the “Face Mask Wearing Ordinance” which aims to implement the mandatory wearing of face masks to all persons entering Cagayan de Oro and its public places!
This ordinance will be in effect while the city is still dealing with the threat of the novel coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
In today’s press conference, Mayor Moreno also added that they are now doing what they can to distribute over 200,000 face masks to residents who can’t afford to buy one.
