16 Mar Mayor Moreno To Order Curfew & Temporary Closure of Malls In Cagayan de Oro City
Mga higala! In a COVID-19 press conference today, Mayor Oscar Moreno revealed that he will order a curfew and the temporary closure of malls tomorrow, March 17, 2020, in Cagayan de Oro City!
The curfew will be from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am and will include bars and other places of entertainment.
Meanwhile, malls will be closed (except for grocery stores and pharmacies) because many people converge in these kinds of establishments.
Mayor Moreno then explained that he can’t just issue a lockdown in the city since CDO is the hub of the region and many people come here for their supplies, medical needs, and more.
He also stressed that everyone should follow safety precautions and stay at home.
