Mayor Moreno Urges Public To Stay Vigilant vs COVID-19 This Holiday Season

Mga higala! Mayor Oscar Moreno is now urging the public to stay vigilant this holiday season and help in sustaining the decreasing number of local COVID-19 cases in Cagayan de Oro!

(ICYDK, only 4 new local cases were recorded in the city last December 21, 2020, which is the lowest daily case tally in the past months.)

“These case numbers serve to inspire and give cause for us in City Hall and the people of Cagayan de Oro City to celebrate Christmas and New Year. But di ta magkumpiyansa. Bantay lang ta, pugong lang ta gud,” said Mayor Moreno in a recent press briefing.

The mayor then thanked the City Health Office (CHO), the City Hall, the JR Borja General Hospital (JRBGH), the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), and the city’s private hospitals for all their efforts in helping fight the coronavirus pandemic.
