Mayor Moreno To Move Curfew To 11 PM-4 AM If CDO’s COVID-19 Cases Decline

Mga higala! Mayor Oscar Moreno has recently stated that he is willing to shorten the curfew hours in Cagayan de Oro City and move it to 11:00 pm-4:00 am if the local COVID-19 cases gradually decrease!

“If the COVID-19 cases go down, I’d be happy to shorten the curfew from 9 pm to 5 am to 11 pm to 4 am. That way we give people more time to go out,” said Mayor Moreno.

In case you don’t know, CDO records around 20+ new COVID-19 cases daily, and the easing of quarantine restrictions can possibly be implemented if this decreases to less than 10 per day, before Christmas.

The city currently has 2,037 cumulative cases (as of Nov. 13). 1,665 of these are confirmed local cases and 372 are LSIs and ROFs.
