Kagay-anon boxer Milan “Metodico” Milendo now eyes for a unified boxing title after defeating Japanese rival Akira Yaegashi in the IBF World light flyweight belt last May.

Milendo is set to fight against South African boxer Hekkie Budler with the goal of earning another IBF title and to guard his current IBF belt on September 16 at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Cebu City.

In an article from Sunstar.com.ph, the South African boxer is the reigning International Boxing Organization (IBO) light flyweight champion which he fought for in a tight-fist battle against Filipino boxer Joey Canoy last February.

Under ALA Boys, Melindo has 36 wins, 2 losses, 0 draws, and 13 knockouts to date.
