Mga higala! HIDILYN DIAZ, a Mindanaoan weightlifter from Zamboanga City, has won the first gold medal of the Philippines in the current Asian Games 2018 held at Jakarta, Indonesia.

During the weightlifting event, Hidilyn Diaz topped in the 53kg division and lifted a total of 207 kilograms, while her closest competition, Turkmenistan’s Kristina Shermetova, lifted a total of 206 kilograms.
