16 May Minimum Wage Increase: Up To P110 In Visayas, P33 In NCR
Mga higala! The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has recently announced the following daily minimum wage increases:
- Western Visayas—plus P55 to P110
- National Capital Region—plus P33
With these increases, the daily minimum wage of private establishments with more than 10 employees in Western Visayas (Region VI) will now be P450 (from P395).
Meanwhile, workers in establishments with 10 or below employees in the said region will get a daily minimum wage of P420 (from P310) and agricultural workers will get P410 (from P315).
Moreover, workers in NCR will now have a minimum wage of P570 daily (from P537).
