03 Mar Misamis Occidental Opens Borders To Travelers: No More Travel Authority, COVID-19 Tests, & Others
Mga higala! Misamis Occidental has officially opened its borders to travelers and has adapted the “uniform travel protocols” approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF)!
This was announced yesterday, March 2, 2021, with an executive order from Governor Philip Tan.
With this, travelers are no longer required to bring Travel Authorities, health certificates, barangay certification, and more. Mandatory COVID-19 tests and quarantine will also be removed from the travel requirements.
However, individuals from Metro Manila, Cebu City, and other high-risk areas declared by the Department of Health (DOH), will need to undergo Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT).
With the easing of restrictions, travelers are urged to fully cooperate with clinical and exposure assessment upon arrival and observe minimum public healths standards at all times:
- Wearing of face masks and face shields
- Physical Distancing
- other health safety protocols
