29 Jun Misamis Oriental Records 2 New COVID-19 Cases: Both Are LSIs
Mga higala! 2 new locally stranded individuals (LSIs) in Misamis Oriental have tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend!
With this, there are now 8 confirmed cases in the province.
One of them (7th) is a 34-year-old female from Tagoloan who arrived from Marikina City via a 2GO vessel last June 24, 2020. She was immediately quarantined upon arrival and is now asymptomatic.
The other individual (8th) is a 31-year-old male from Claveria who arrived from Makati City via an AirAsia flight on June 24, 2020. He was placed in an isolation facility upon his arrival.
He is mildly symptomatic (cough and colds) and is currently in their LIGTAS COVID Center. He is closely being monitored by health personnel.
Both of these LSIs were swabbed and their RT-PCR test results came back positive yesterday, June 28.
