Miss Cagayan de Oro 2017 candidates experienced one of the most sought after tourism attraction in CdeO – the white water rafting and it was an adventure they won’t ever forget. Miss Cagayan de Oro is an annual beauty pageant in celebration of the city’s Higalaay Festival, a celebration to honor Cagayan de Oro’s patron saint St. Augustine which is held every August.

Miss Cagayan de Oro is not only a pageant of beauties from different barangays but it is also a celebration of women that aims to empower the young and beautiful Kagay-anon women to be a person of knowledge and awareness.
Just like every pageant, the reigning Miss Cagayan de Oro is tasked to promote the city’s culture and values thru community services and the like.
