Miss Cagayan de Oro 2016, Sherlyn Doloriel will be joining the prestigious Miss Philippines Earth 2017 with its coronation night on July 15, 2017.
Miss Philippines Earth is a beauty event that actively promotes and gets involved in the preservation and protection of the environment. The pageant aims to give a strong emphasis on environmental awareness programs.
Whoever is hailed to be Miss Philippines Earth will serve as the Ambassador to environmental protection campaign in the country, and represent the Philippines to one of the biggest international beauty competitions, the Miss Earth.
Sherlyn Doloriel just graduated last March with a Degree in Business Administration Major in Marketing from Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan. She also studied at Corrales Elementary School and Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School (MOGCHS). She even visited her Alma Mater Corrales Elementary School for her homecoming event last October 2016.
Sherlyn Doloriel is known to have a passion in when it comes to beauty pageants such as Mutya ng Pilipinas 2015 (Northern Mindanao) and Miss Silka Northern Mindanao 2015. According to an article from SunStar, Sherlyn came from a family of beauty queens, both her mother Merlynda Legaspi Doloriel and sister Ferlyn Doloriel in their own times. Sherlyn’s greatest inspiration when she joined Miss Cagayan 2016 is her father who is an Overseas Filipino Worker.
