21 Jun DTI, CDO-CPCC monitor basic commodity prices in CdeO
From an article posted on CDO Facebook Page, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and CDO-City Price Coordinating Council (CDO-CPCC) yesterday, June 20, lead the monitoring of price on the basic commodities among stores in Cagayan de Oro City.
According to CDO-CPCC co-chairman Atty. Jose Edgardo Uy the team want to make sure that none of the local businesses would take advantage of the implementation of price freeze implemented in the city.
Furthermore, there is a possibility for an increase in the price of basic commodities. However, a necessity was seen for the prices to remain up to the next month to cater to the needs of the communities in Mindanao under the President’s Martial Law.
DTI also announced that the price freeze will remain unless President Duterte will take back his Martial Law declaration.
DTI and CDO-CPC encouraged consumers to visit their office in case there are queries regarding the price freeze policy or reach them through their telephone number (088) 857-4034.
