In an article posted by Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, investigators will conduct further investigation on a fire incident in Barangay Macasandig, Cagayan de Oro City involving an elderly mother with her daughter who were trapped inside their burning house which immediately led to their untimely death.
Luzviminda Dumaguing, 83 years old, and her 45-year-old daughter, Mary Grace Dumaguing, who had a mental illness, were trapped in their burning two-storey house during the incident.
SFO3 Greg Rosario of Bureau of the Fire Protection-Nazareth Sub-Station said that the origin of the fire is still being determined but there are possibilities that it started in the kitchen area of the house.
Furthermore, the initial damage of the fire incident was calculated to be worth P300,000.
